Dianna Du
Principal Solicitor

Dianna has well over 10 years of experience in the legal industry, and has a wealth of experience in business, having operated her own businesses and worked for public listed companies in the past. Dianna is admitted in the Supreme Court of New South Wales and the High Court of Australia.

Dianna provides savvy and practical advice and legal representation to her clients, who range from public listed companies to budding entrepreneurs.

Dianna also specialises in family law matters and is experienced in dealing with complex children and property related matters, with some of these matters involving assets or people located in different jurisdictions.

Dianna speaks fluent English, Mandarin and Cantonese.

Melissa Tang
Solicitor

Melissa was admitted as a solicitor in 2015, having completed her double degree (Bachelor of Commerce/Bachelor of Law) at the University of Sydney. Melissa is admitted in the Supreme Court of New South Wales and High Court of Australia.

Melissa has worked in the legal industry for over three years, having worked in another boutique law practice whilst completing her studies. Melissa has had exposure in numerous areas of law such as family law, criminal law, general litigation, personal injury and conveyancing.

Melissa overlooks our Conveyancing department and has an eye for detail when combing through complex contracts. She has often been praised for efficiently managing settlements resulting in a smooth and seamless transaction.

Melissa speaks fluent English and Mandarin.

Sophia Chung
Solicitor

Qualifications
LL.B, GDLP, MSc (Econ.)

Sophia was admitted to the Supreme Court of Victoria in 2014.

With a family business background, Sophia is well acquainted with the practical aspects of business transactions. Prior to her admission as a lawyer she has also worked in the Treasury Assurance division of PricewaterhouseCoopers and Corporate Tax Office in Finland.

Sophia graduated with Bachelor of Laws degree from La Trobe University. She completed her Graduate Diploma in Legal Practice at the Leo Cussen Institute.

Sophia also holds a Master’s Degree from Lappeenranta University of Technology (LUT) majoring in finance and accounting.

After her admission Sophia was employed in a general practice firm handling a variety of matters with a focus in the area of commercial Law and litigation.

At Du & Associates Lawyers Sophia practices predominantly in commercial Law, but also provides advice in Family Law as well as litigious matters. She enjoys the diversity of work in her practice which brings her into contact with a broad range of clients and issues.Sophia is fluent in Finnish and Cantonese and has conversation skills in Mandarin Chinese. She is a member of the Law Institute of Victoria and Law Society of NSW.

SALLY LEE
Solicitor and Registered Migration Agent

Qualifications
Bachelor of Law (LLB) / Bachelor of Business (Marketing)

Having developed a passion for migration issues and how they affect peoples’ lives, Sally enjoys practising in migration law and has a successful history of obtaining visa applications approvals for her clients.

Sally advises and represents clients in immigration matters ranging from employer sponsored work visas (temporary & permanent), training visas, work and holiday visas, visitor visas and various temporary/bridging visas. Sally also advises and represents Sponsors in their standard business sponsorship and nomination applications.

Sally also practises in various litigation matters such as commercial and property disputes.

Sally has often been praised for her efficient management in cases, being well organised and has a good eye for detail. She can be described as a person whom cares for the welfare of her clients.

Sally speaks fluent English, Cantonese and Mandarin.

Carys WONG
Paralegal

Carys joined Du and Associates in 2018. Carys works in the commercial advisory and litigation team.

Carys is a certified practising accountant having worked extensively in banking, construction and taxation matters as finance manager in multinational companies. Carys volunteered at

NSW Young Lawyers Property Law Committee as the Secretary and Submission Coordinator. She has also edited and co-authored various submissions to NSW Fair Trading and NSW Senate Standing Committee.

Outside of work, Carys enjoys tennis, yoga and horse riding.

Carys is currently completing her Graduate Certificate in Professional Legal Practice and will be admitted as a solicitor in 2018.

Carys speaks fluent English, Cantonese and Mandarin.

JADEN CHEONG
EXECUTIVE ASSISTANT

Jaden is currently studying Actuarial Studies / Bachelor of Science (Advances Maths) (Honours) at the University of New South Wales.

Jaden is meticulous with his work and is passionate about assisting our Principal to ensure that the firm runs smoothly and profitably.

Jaden enjoys meeting new people, loves travelling and brings lots of joy laughter into firm.
